This will be an ongoing series where I talk about my favorite deck I am currently using in Marvel Snap.
I go through phases of different decks I like to use. It usually starts with someone crushing me with a deck and me saying that the deck looks fun. I'll take their deck and give it more of my own flavor, or I might think of a combo of a couple of cards that could be fun and go from there.
My current favorite deck is what I call Sentinel. I thought it may be fun to try to add as much garbage to someone's deck as possible. I use Master Mold to fill their hands with Sentienals. Then, I use Rockslide and Korg to fill their deck with rocks. I also have Beast, which I use to put Korg and Master Mold back in my hand to play them again.
The other two key cards I use in this deck are Darkhawk and Ronan. The more cards in their deck, the more power Darkhawk has. With Ronan, the more cards in your opponent's hand, the stronger Ronan is. They only cost five power, so you can play both and give yourself some significant power.
Two other cards in the deck that I use to provide more power are Mystique, so I can copy Darhawk or Ronan's ongoing ability, giving her a lot of strength for only a cost 3 card. Red Hulk is another great card to have. It isn't dependent on any other cards and is another good, powerful card to have. I have found that filling up an opponent's deck with garbage causes them not to play cards and have leftover energy. With leftover energy, Red Hulk gets +2 power each time energy is left. This way, Red Hulk benefits from it, and it's another strong card in my deck in case I don't pull either Darkhawk or Ronan.
Cosmo and Armor are also in my deck, which helps shut down a lot of other decks. It also helps so my more powerful cards stay intact. I can also use Mystique with these cards to cause even more of a headache for my opponent.
Psylocke and Black Widow are not as important in this deck, but they are still helpful. Black Widow adds an extra card to the opponent's hand but also stops them from drawing more cards. Depending on how you play it, this card can be helpful to both Ronan and Darkhawk. I'll use Psylocke to get Ronan or Darkhawk out early, allowing me to play Ronan, Darkhaw, and Red Hulk if I draw all three.
Overall, I've found this a versatile deck that doesn't depend on any one card in the deck for a win. I've been using this deck for a while now, and it keeps giving me wins.
